Lois L. Ahner

Lois L. (Lamoreaux) Ahner, 86, a longtime Wyomissing resident, died September 18, 2010 in The Highlands at Wyomissing.

She was the wife of Robert W. Ahner, Sr.

Born in Forty Fort, PA, she was the daughter of the late Virginia A. Lamoreaux.

She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

Lois was an avid bowler and golfer. She was a member of the Ladies Golf Association at Heidelberg Country Club, where she was active in women's golf since 1970.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert W., Jr., husband of Ansa, Bernville; and David J., husband of Charlotte, Cumming, GA. There are four grandchildren, Ava, Ella, Jennifer and Bill. Two cousins, Kathleen (Ash) Dreyfus, Washington, DC and Linda (Ash) Higbee, Ocean City, NJ also survive her.
