Lisa Beth Kemp

Lisa Beth Kemp, 51, died July 20, 2012 in her Muhlenberg Township residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Raymond L. Kemp.

Born December 28, 1960 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Norman E. and Marian E. (Irvin) Specht.

Lisa was a 1978 graduate of Reading High School.

She was employed at Hallmark until 2011.

Lisa was an avid painter and loved arts and crafts. She enjoyed vacationing at the Outer Banks and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three children: Joshua Kemp, husband of Jessica Gappa; Luke Norman Kemp; Megan L. Kemp, all of Muhlenberg Township. Also surviving are six siblings: Dorothy, wife of Glenn Steinhauer, Paxtonia; Ann, wife of Brett Boyer, Reading; Roy, husband of Sherry Specht, Mohnton; Janis Specht, Muhlenberg Twp.; Eileen Specht, Muhlenberg Twp.; Scott, husband of Judy Specht, Reading. Four grandchildren: Jacob, Olivia, Taylor, and Nathan, also survive her.

Services will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
