Linda M. Turnbull

Linda M. Turnbull, 71 formerly of Mahanoy City died September 24th in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was born in W. Mahanoy Township and was the daughter of the late Henry and Elsie (Jones) Turnbull. She was a 1962 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and Protestant by faith. Linda worked for many years as a packer for J.E. Morgan Clothing, Hometown, PA. She was a lifelong Phillies fan, a loyal follower of Mahanoy Area High School and Penn State. Linda enjoyed hearing about the Hamburg Hawks. She is survived by her cousin-sister and friend, Lois Elhajj and her daughter Susan wife of Pat Hanlon and their children, Patrick and Sarah, Hamburg and another cousin, Rick Davidson, Colorado. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at Sky-View Memorial Park, 49 W. Broad Street, Tamaqua.
