Linda Lee Spadafora

Linda Lee (Gibson) Spadafora, 79, of Alsace Township passed away October 10, 2015 in the Reading Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Anthony B. "Duke" Spadafora; they were married for 61 years.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Edith (Hain) Gibson.

Linda was a 1954 graduate of Reading High School.

Linda enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and swimming; she loved spending time at Hawk Mountain. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Mary T., wife of Daniel Torrens, Temple; Anthony P., husband of Sandra Spadafora, Reading; Christopher L. Spadafora, Reading; and Michael A., husband of Christine Spadafora, Reading. Also surviving are grandchildren: Melinda, Stella, Jerome, Stephen, Jed, John, Josh, Casandra, Nevin, Alyssa, Kayla, Jenna, Alexa and Michael Jr.; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Linda was predeceased by her brother, William Spadafora.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Reading, PA 19608. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Edward J.
