Linda M. Rider, owner of an Exeter Township business, died of natural causes May 1 at 12:45 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since April 24.
Rider, 62, Exeter Township, was the wife of John A. Rider.
She was the owner of Walnut Springs Farm Gift Baskets, Exeter Township, since 2002.
Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Viola (Axman) Marchek.
Rider was treasurer of the Berks chapter of the Pennsylvania Heartland Herb Society from 1985 to 1995.
She was a Penn State Master Gardener since 1996.
Rider was a 1961 graduate of Wilson High School.
She also is survived by a son, Theodore Carol, Bowmansville, Lancaster County; and two daughters, Beth (Bauman) Schoener, Wernersville, and Jennifer (Bauman) DeVage, Exeter Township.
Other survivors include two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Rider-Williams, Wyomissing, and Jacqueline Rider, Falmouth, Maine.
There also are nine grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
