Linda Joyce Miller

Linda Joyce Miller, 73, of Laureldale, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Born in Laureldale, she was the daughter of Charles and Joyce (Feick) Knoll.

Linda completed her education at Muhlenberg High School and worked into her 70's taking jobs in clerical and janitorial services. She found great joy in the art of cleaning and took pride in her work.

Animals held a special place in Linda's heart, and she found immense happiness in spoiling her dogs Fritzy, Freckles, Kirbie Sue, and Diego. In her free time, Linda could be found nurturing her garden and engaging in yardwork. When she wasn't outside tending to the Earth, she enjoyed watching game shows. Linda cherished the moments she shared with her sisters during their lengthy phone conversations and loved spending time with family.

Linda is survived by her children, Michael D. Kemp, husband of Jamie, and Matthew David Kemp, husband of Rosalind. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Kristian, Ryan, and Keira. She will be missed by her sister, Shirley Lysakowski.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Bertha Knoll, Edith Bond, Dot Wisniewski, Marie Lecatsas, and Luther Schaeffer.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A graveside service will follow at Bern Cemetery, 3196 Bernville Road, Leesport.
