LINDA LEE LABE

Born February 4, 1948 in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late Amy and Walter Labe. Graduated from Reading High School and attended the Pottstown Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Community General Hospital in Reading and at Wernersville State Hospital until her retirement.

Linda is survived by her aunt, Betty J. Payne, of Stony Creek, her cousins, Curt Payne, Birdsboro, Carl Payne, Fleetwood and Eric Payne, Blandon, and her dear friend, Bernice Moore, R.N., Sinking Spring.

A shy and gentle soul who endured great hardship in her life, Linda found great comfort and expression through her art of counter cross-stitch and knitting.

Services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held a half hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
