Linda Lou Gumbert

Linda Lou Gumbert, 66, of Reading passed away November 11, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Marlin B. Gumbert and they were married for 42 years. Born in Reading on October 16, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Carolyn K. (Schaeffer) Billman.

Linda was a graduate of Reading High School and Pace Institute. She was employed by Exide General Battery for 20 years and Pace Institute for 10 years.

Linda is survived by her sister; Phyliss A. Goerner of Wernersville, a niece Debbie Beeman and a nephew Thomas Goerner Jr.

Linda enjoyed traveling with her husband and photography.

Services will be Friday at 1:30 Pm in the Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will in Berks County Memorial Gardens. In lieu flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 301 South 5th Street, Reading PA 19603 or the American Diabetes Association P.O.
