Linda A. Glass

Linda Ann (Spatz) Glass, 60, died of natural causes June 22, 2009 in her Fleetwood residence.

She was the wife of Donald Paul Glass, whom she married September 14, 1992.

Born in West Reading, PA on August 14, 1948, she was a daughter of Ruth Anna (Wessner) Spatz of Muhlenberg Township and the late Robert Milton Spatz, Sr.

She was a 1966 graduate of Hamburg High School and a graduate of the McCann School of Business, Reading.

Linda was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ Church, Tuckerton.

She was employed a number of years with Community General Hospital, Reading, starting out as an X-Ray Technician and last worked with Human Resources in the Benefits Department. She was later employed a number of years with St. Joseph Medical Center in the Benefits Department.

Linda was later employed five years as the church secretary with St. John's U.C.C., Pricetown and last working in the same capacity for five years with Good Shepherd U.C.C., Tuckerton, retiring in 2007.

She is also survived by a son, Timothy R., husband of Rita L. (Heffner) Ehrnfeldt of Howell, New Jersey.

Other survivors include four siblings: Robert M. Jr., husband of Kathy (Schaefer) Spatz of Tilden Township; Donna M. (Spatz), wife of Larry Yoder of Manheim, Lancaster County; Janet R. (Spatz), wife of Nevin Savage of Upper Bern Township and Lori J. (Spatz), wife of Steven R. Snyder of Ruscombmanor Township.

There are also three grandchildren surviving: Kayla Rose Ehrnfeldt; Megan Elizabeth Ehrnfeldt and Dylan John Ehrnfeldt.

Services will be held Monday at 11:00 am in Good Shepherd U.C.C. Church, 170 Tuckerton Road, (Muhlenberg Township), Reading, PA 19605, with Rev. Dr. Robert A. Stewart and Rev. Bonnie Dalious officating. A viewing will be held Monday from 10:00 until time of services in the Church. Burial will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
