Linda L. Becker

Linda L. (Stichter) Becker, age 77.

God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered "come to me", February 12, 2021, at Seasons Hospice Center, Chester County.

Born March 24, 1943, in West Reading, daughter of Sara (Beissel) Yoder, and the late Wellington Stichter.

She was the matriarch of the family. Loving wife to Marvin Becker who she married August 29, 1959, and then again on May 15, 1986.

Always putting her children first. Surviving is a daughter, Wendy M. (Becker), wife of Richard Hess, a son Barry M. Becker(Kathy Birmingham), and a daughter Lisa M. (Becker), wife of Todd Hafer.

She adored her two grandsons, Christopher Boyer, wife Nicole, and Chad Boyer, wife Jessica Shober.

Linda was the oldest of seven. She is survived by a sister Nancy (Stichter) Lisa, companion of Brad Binner, and two brothers, Kenneth George Stichter, wife Kathy, and Russell Stichter, wife Leeza, and sister-in-laws, Verna (Becker) Speicher, and Carol Stichter.

Linda was predeceased by a brothers Timothy and Thomas, and a sister Ann (Stichter) Wagner.

Linda attended Ontelaunee High School, Leesport.

Her family referred to her as "Mrs. Clean", as she was always cleaning something. Over the years, she took pride in taking care of her nieces and nephews in their younger years. Linda held many jobs always providing for her family. She last worked at Sealed Air, retiring in 2001.

Linda and her husband enjoyed many years camping at Appalachian Campground. She enjoyed going to the beach, playing games, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Honoring Linda's wishes, there will be no services.
