Lillie T.C. Mcdonough

Lillie T. Cook McDonough, 91, formerly of Wyomissing, died May 26 at 1:30 p.m. in Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home, Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, where she had been a resident since March 2003.

She was the wife of Edward M. McDonough. Her first husband, Robert H. Cook, died in 1982.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Allyn C. and Florence (Welton) Taylor.

McDonough was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

She was a 1932 graduate of Wyomissing High School and a 1936 graduate of Syracuse University, N.Y.

McDonough is also survived by a daughter, Gail E. (Cook) Van Dyke, San Anselmo, Calif.; two sons, Robert A. Cook, Fairfax, Va., and Douglas T. Cook, Essex Fells, N.J.; and a stepson, Michael McDonough, Milford, Iowa.

There are also eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Atonement Lutheran Church. Private burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
