Lillie M. Lombardo

Lillie M. Lombardo, 91, formerly of Carroll Street, died Oct. 1 at 3 a.m. in Mifflin Center, Cumru Township, where she had resided since May 31, 2001.

Her husband, Joseph Lombardo, died April 17, 1993.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Amanda (Weiler) Schnable.

Lombardo was employed for several years as a feeder by a cigar factory in Reading and was last employed for several years by Narrow Fabric Co., West Reading, until her retirement.

She was a member of Christ (Yocom's) Lutheran Church, Grill.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Jeanne M. (Lombardo) Cremer, Riverview Park, and a stepson, David Lombardo, Leesport.

Other survivors include five stepgrandchildren and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Christ (Yocom's) Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
