Lillian M. Hawkins

Lillian M. (Binkley) Hawkins, 84, formerly of Fleetwood, died September 16th at 10:49pm in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township, where she had been for the past three years.

She was the widow of Paul R. Hawkins, who died June 22, 1979.

Born in Richmond Township on July 30, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Viola K. (Becker) Binkley.

She attended Jacob's United Church of Christ in Jacksonville.

Lillian was employed 12 years as a looper at Berkshire Knitting Mills and than servered in the same capacity for an additional 12 years at Leiningers Knitting Mills until her retirement.

She is survived by many close friends.

Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale with the Rev. Scott L. Shay officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Entombment will be in Hope Cemetery Mausoleum, Kutztown. www.christfuneralhome.com
