Lillian Mae Kline Jowers

Lillian Mae (Hottenstein) Kline Jowers, died September 14, 2013, on her 80th birthday at Kutztown Manor, Kutztown.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Lester Washington and Pearl M. (Adams) Hottenstein.

Lillian was a 1951 graduate of Fleetwood High School and a 1952 graduate of Reading Business Institute.

She was employed with Horrigan Company/AEL for 25 years, retiring in 1998.

Lillian was a member of St. John's Gernant's Church, Leesport.

Surviving are her three children: Gary W., husband of Diane L. (Mertz) Jowers of Charlotte, NC; Karen A. (Jowers), wife of Franklin D. Wolfe, Jr. of Spring Township and David D. Kline of Maidencreek Township.

Other survivors include her four grandchildren: Mark, Benjamin, Mackenzie and Cory and a step-grandson, Matthew.

Lillian was predeceased by her brother, George T. Hottenstein and her son-in-law, Mark A. Chelius.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Viewings will be held Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery.
