Lila S. Miller

Lila S. Miller, 79 of Reading died March 13 in St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been for one day.

Her husband Glenn D. Miller died February 4, 1996.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Paul M. and Erma M. (Lamp) Noll.

She was a graduate of Pottstown High School in 1943.

Miller was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, Mount Penn.

She was a Girl Scout leader for the Great Valley Council, Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pottstown. She was an organizer of Berks County Restoration of Cemeteries during Bicentennial year 1976.

Miller was a past historian and research chairman of Berks County Genealogical Society. She also was a current member of Horizon Singers, Reading.

Survivors include one son Barry A. Miller, Azrou, Morocco and 3 daughters, Laurel A. Miller, West Africa, Darice L. (Miller) Bowman and Karen L. (Miller) Schulze both of West Reading.

Other survivors include one sister Ruby A. (Noll) Lewis, Pottstown. There are also 8 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters.

Services will be Thursday at 10:30 AM in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown.
