Lieselotte "Lottie" Dorit (Schröpf) Walters-Rothrock, died June 20, 2013 in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Francis Walters, who died April 2, 1970 and by her second husband, Joseph Henry Rothrock, who died September 17, 1985.
Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia on May 25, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Anton and Zita (Koehler) Schröpf.
She was the owner/operator of the Shamrock Hotel, Mertztown from 1975-1989.
Lottie was a past president of the Longswamp Township Lioness Club.
She was a member of the Knice-Knitters of Muhlenberg Township.
Lottie volunteered at the Reading Hospital and was a member of the Knitting Group.
She is survived by five children: Anita M. (Walters), wife of Scott Carl of Breinigsville; Frank S., husband of Shirley L. (Adam) Walters of Kutztown; Christiana L. (Walters), wife of Michael A. Ream of Fleetwood; Alayna R. (Walters), wife of Thomas J. Lynam of Lower Heidelberg Township and Alan A. Walters companion of Sharon Douglas of Blandon.
Other survivors include three step-children: Sherry (Rothrock), wife of John Gerhardt of Harleysville; Joseph W., husband of Janise Rothrock of Richlands, NC and Deborah J. (Rothrock) Miller of Kutztown.
Lottie is also survived by a sister, Christiane (Schröpf), wife of Wilfred Waldbrunn of Deming, New Mexico.
There are also nine grandchildren: Angela, Cory, Travis, Derrick, Jessica, Joscalyn, Craig, Jacob and Elizabeth and three great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Hans Schröpf.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 24th at 11:00 am in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, 100 Broad St., Hilltown, PA 18927. A viewing will be held from 10:30 - 11:00 am in the Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
