Liberato Rivera

Liberato Rivera, 69, died of natural causes October 2nd at 10:40 am in his Laureldale residence.

He was the husband of Francisca (Rosado) Rivera.

Born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Gillermo and Ventura (Rivera) Rivera.

He was employed 30 years as a truck driver at Giorgio Foods, Ontelaunee Township before retiring in 2002.

Liberato was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

He is also survived by two daughters, Doris, wife of Wilfred Feliciano of Muhlenberg Township and Patricia Donofrio of Port Orange, Florida and two sons, Henry Rivera of Laureldale and Anthony husband of Michele (Stoudt) Rivera of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include three brothers, Felix of Laureldale, Vincente and Juanito both of Reading and two sisters, Margarita Roman and Gutredes Vega both of Reading.

There are also eight grandchildren, Dante, Bianca, Jesse, Brianna, Derek, Nathan, Alec and Marissa.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Anton Rivera in 1989.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00am in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Hyde Park. Viewing Thursday from 8:30 until 9:30 am in Walter R.
