With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Letitia Lynn Mugar Young, who entered into the presence of the Lord on June 9, 2026, at the age of 61.

From the very beginning, Letitia's life was a testament to perseverance, faith, and God's grace. Born in 1965 with one of the most severe forms of spina bifida, doctors believed her future would be filled with limitations. Instead, she spent her life proving that God's plans are greater than any diagnosis.

So remarkable was her journey that she became the subject of a medical journal publication and was recognized by physicians as a medical miracle. Throughout her life, she faced numerous health challenges with courage and determination, continually overcoming obstacles that many thought impossible. Her resilience, faith, and strength inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Doctors once told Letitia she would never have children. Once again, she proved them wrong. She became the proud mother of two children, a daughter and a son, who were among her greatest blessings and greatest accomplishments. She later became a devoted grandmother, a role that brought her tremendous joy and fulfillment.

Letitia was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She possessed a quiet determination that carried her through every season of life and an enduring faith that sustained her through both triumphs and trials. She had a warm heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and a gift for making others feel loved and welcomed.

Above all, Letitia treasured her family. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Her life was a beautiful reminder that our circumstances do not define us; rather, it is our faith, character, and love for others that leave a lasting impact.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and that she is now whole, healed, and at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her legacy of perseverance, courage, faith, and unconditional love will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.

As we celebrate her life, we remember a woman who continually defied the odds, inspired those around her, and demonstrated what it means to trust God through every season. Her story was one of miracles, and her life was a gift.
