Lester G. Zuber

Lester G. Zuber, 91, of Muhlenberg Township, died May 27, 2014 in Spruce Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, West Reading.

He was married May 11, 1946 to Pearl Lena (Yoder) Zuber, who died January 11, 2013.

Born in Rockland Township, Berks County on January 18, 1923, he was a son of the late Charles and Hannah (Gresley) Zuber.

He was employed as a molder with Boyertown Foundry before retiring in 1976.

Lester was an Army Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by three children: Patricia A. (Zuber) Maione of Wernersville, Kenneth L. Zuber of Blandon and Roy G. Zuber of Rockland Township.

Other survivors include 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Lester D. Zuber.

Lester was also predeceased by four brothers: Paul, Clarance, Lloyd and Andrew and three sisters: Elda Baer, Helen Grimmer and Carrie Grimmer.

Services will be private. Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
