Lester R. Wolfskill

Lester R. Wolfskill, 96, formerly of Reading, died July 6, 2008 in ManorCare, Laureldale.

His wife Ruth E. (Belles) Wolfskill died January 20, 1977.

Born in Reamstown, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Boyer) Wolfskill.

Mr. Wolfskill was a supervisor for 25 years for the City of Reading retiring in 1976.

He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Reading.

Lester is survived by his son, Robert, husband of Janet, Reading. There is one brother, Roy Wolfskill, Temple and one sister, Arlene (Wolfskill) Gring, Wernersville. Two grandchildren, Timothy, husband of Cherie Wolfskill, Limerick and Suzanne, wife of William Franczak, Easton and two great-grandchildren, Ryan Wolfskill and Lauren Franczak also survive him.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
