Lester H. Bosold

Lester H. Bosold, 90, formerly of Leesport, died February 21, 2008 in Berks Heim.

His wife, Ferne E. (Sheidy) Bosold, died on September 3, 1978.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Henry A. and Sarah (Gilbert) Bosold.

Lester was a Press Shop Foreman for 34 years for Carpenter Technology, Reading.

He was a member of Reading Moravian Church.

Lester served in the U. S. Army during WW II.

He is survived by a daughter, Gloria M. (Bosold) Heilman, Sinking Spring; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Homer G. Bosold.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Reading Moravian Church 1116 Perry Street, Reading, PA 19604. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call 12:30 to 1 p.m. in the church.
