Lester C. Schaeffer

Lester Claude Schaeffer, 90, died March 25, 2007 at 9:55 pm in his North Heidelberg Township residence.

Born February 24, 1917 in Muhlenberg Township, he was a son of the late Charles and Minnie (Delp) Schaeffer.

He was employed a number of years with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation until his retirement in 1982.

Lester is survived by a nephew, Gary W. husband of Doris M. (Goheen) DeWees of North Heidelberg Township.

Memorial services will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. Burial will be in Salem Shalter's Church Cemetery, Alsace Township. For online condolences, visit www.christfuneralhome.com
