Leonard A. Busch

Leonard A. Busch, 89, of West Reading, died September 24, 2014, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Fern E. (Berger) Busch.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Leonard B. and Myrle (Schlegel) Busch.

He worked for Textile Machine Works, Wyomissing for 42 years.

He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

Leonard served in the U.S. Army Air force for two years flying in a B- 29 during WWII.

He was a wonderful husband and father.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Jeffrey L. Busch, Alsace Township and Susan L. Ziegenfuss, Shillington and two brothers, Richard Busch, Lancaster County and Donald Busch, Mohnton. Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive him.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
