Leona H. Domsic, 93, formerly of Reading, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, in the care of The Villages Veranda. She was the widow of William J. Domsic, who passed away in 2006.
Born in Reading to the late Leon and Stephania (Snaj) Kaminski, Leona graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1948.
For many years she served as a purchaser and bookkeeper for Bechtel, Lutz, and Jost on Penn Street. After her retirement she worked as a clerk for a law office on Walnut Street.
Leona was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church.
She was an active, caring, and involved mother, and she served as a cub scout den leader for the St. Paul's troop while her boys were scouts. She enjoyed crafting and painting ceramics. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, and treasured unforgettable adventures to Anzio, Italy, including one trip for William's Army reunion. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Leona is survived by her sons, Gregory Domsic (Kathy) and Leon Domsic (Jean), both residents of The Villages, FL; grandchildren, Brian Domsic, James Domsic (Rebecca), William Domsic (Arlen Correra), and Susan McNulty (Ryan); and great granddaughters, Eloise McNulty and Ruby Domsic.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Kopicki-Bradley Funeral Home, Inc, is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at kopickibradleyfuneralhome.com.
