Leon R. Miller

Leon R. Miller, Jr. 67 of Muhlenberg Twp. was pronounced dead on arrival January 7 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Barbara A. (Hoover) Miller.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Florence M. (Jacobs) Miller, Leesport and the late Leon R. Miller, Sr.

Miller was employed by Lucent Technologies, Muhlenberg Twp. as a Process Analyst from 1957 until his retirement in 1997.

He was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School in 1955.

He was a 32nd degree Mason of Chandler Lodge #227, Reading Consistory.

Other survivors include one son Richard L., Exeter Twp. and one daughter Peri Ann (Miller) Bieber, Exeter Twp. There is also one sister Janet E. (Miller) Kleffel, Leesport. He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren.

Services will be private. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
