Leon M. Spotts

Leon M. Spotts, 87, died August 27th at 9:15pm in the residence of his son, L. Richard Spotts of 125 Woodland Terrace, (Tilden Township)Hamburg, Pa 19526.

He was the widower of Ruth N. (Geiger) Spotts, who died January 23, 1996.

Born in Bowmansville, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Martin and Jennie (Good) Spotts.

He worked as a heating and air conditioning service manager for a number of years at Ray Griesmer Fuel until retiring in 1980.

Spotts was a charter member of Kenhorst Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He was a member of the National Association Service Mangers.

Spotts is also survived by three sisters, Margaret (Spotts) Coldren of Harrisburg, Catherine (Spotts) Houshower and Arlene Spotts both of Bowmansville.

There are three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 4:00 pm in Kenhorst Seventh Day Adventist Church, 333 Kenhorst Blvd., Reading, Pa 19607. Viewing 3pm until time of service. Burial will be private in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
