Leo A. Zentgraf, 85, of Wyomissing, died January 17, 2009 in Reading Hospital.
He was the loving husband of Phyllis G. (Fritzsche) Zentgraf. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 17.
Born in Wyomissing, he was a son of the late Frederick L. and Mary A. (Lenich) Zentgraf.
He was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1941.
Leo was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a plasterer for Union 107 for 15 years and later worked for Precision Machine Co., for 12 years retiring in 1985.
Leo was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading; and a lifetime member of the Berkshire Heights Fire Company.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Frederick W., husband of Ruth M. Zentgraf, Wyomissing; and his two daughters, Deborah Anne, wife of Dennis A. Wisniewski, Mohrsville; and Kathy L., wife of William T. Arnold, Brecknock Twp. Six grandchildren, 1 step-grandson and two great-grandchildren also survive him.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Alberta C. Zentgraf, Alice Schaetzle and Anna Latshaw; and two brothers, Frederick and Edward Zentgraf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J.
