Lena J. Spatz

Lena J. Spatz, 82, formerly of Pine Grove and Hamburg died August 1st in Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville. Her husband, Frederick P. Spatz, Sr. died May 25th, 2007. She was born in East Texas, PA and was the daughter of the late Charles and Malara (Holden) Danner. Lena was a homemaker most of her life. She is survived by her children; Frederick Jr., husband of Beverly Spatz, French Camp, California, Marshall Spatz, Pine Grove, Brian Spatz, Sissiton, SD, Kevin husband of Shawn Spatz, Fleetwood and Lisa wife of John Anspach, Pine Grove. Lena is also survived by sixteen grandchildren eleven great-grandchildren and one sister, Shirley Dreibelbis, Hamburg and one brother, Wilson Danner, Mertztown. She was predeceased by a sister ,Anna Reppert. Funeral services will be held on Saturday,August 9th at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 South Fourth Street, Hamburg, PA 19526. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 on Saturday prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Tilden Township.
