Lena Jude Cerniglia

Lena Jude Cerniglia, 42, died unexpectedly November 22, 2017, in her Kenhorst residence.

She was the fiancee of David M. Vetovich.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Santina (Attinello) Cerniglia, Kenhorst and the late Santo Cerniglia.

She was a graduate of Holy Name High School in 1993 and attended Alvernia University.

For the last 19 years, Lena was employed by Penske Truck Leasing as a logistics coordinator last working Tuesday.

She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Lena was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Victor Emmanuel II Society.

She is also survived by her son, Julian McDade, at home and a senior at Governor Mifflin High School; two siblings: Salvatore Cerniglia, Kenhorst; and Maria, wife of Kevin Ebert, Bethlehem. David's children: Erick and Matthew also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. John's RCC, 420 Holland Street, Shillington, with entombment to follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. both at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading.
