Lena C. Genova

Lena Calogera Genova, formerly residing in Pennside, was born in November 1926, graduated from Reading Catholic in 1944, and worked at the Vanity Fair Corporation, retiring in 1990. A member of the Holy Rosary Church and its choir, Lena was the daughter of the late Grazia (Lupo) and Diego (di) Genova and sister of (late) Angelo, (late) Carlo, and Joseph, husband of Evelyn, Genova. Lena never married.

She has four nephews: Richard, husband of Debbie, Ronald, husband of Lynn, Steven, husband of Alison, and Joseph Genova and two nieces: Lisa Genova Konopelski, wife of Stephen Konopelski, and Beth Genova as well as great nephews: Ryan, David, Alexander, Samuel, Giovanni, and Daniel Genova and Matthew Konopelski; great nieces Dr. Lauren Genova and Katie Konopelski Dieffenbach; a g-g nephew Dawson and a g-g niece Kennedy Genova.

A Mass of Christian Burial with interment at Gethsemane Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church, 237 Franklin St., Reading PA 19602. Edward J.
