Lee K. Dailey, 80, of Mohnton, died February 21st at 9:26 p.m. in the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Nancy J. (Reinhart) Dailey of Mohnton.
Born in Laureldale, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Mary I. (Adams) Dailey.
Dailey was employed in the maintenance department at Palmer Plastics in Reading until his retirement in 1988.
He graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1944.
Dailey was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member at the Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.
Dailey was a lifetime member of the Grill Fire Company, Grill, and also the Central Fire Company. He was a member of the Cushing Peak Rod and Gun Club.
He was a car painter for a race car driver, Tommy Hinnershitz, for the Local Berks Racing Team.
Survivors include one son, Bryon L. Dailey of West Springfield, Mass. and one sister Jeanette (Dailey) Homan of Leesport.
Other survivors include 2 grandchildren.
Services will be on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale. Burial will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery, Richmond Township. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Contributions may be made to Clayton Memorial Fund at Cycle News, 3505-M Cadillac Ave. Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
