Lauren M. Nuebling, 42, of Wyomissing, passed away in her residence on Saturday, December 25, 2021. She had shared the last decade of her life with Brian Schweitzer, her significant other and father of her child. Born in Phoenixville, Lauren graduated from Governor Mifflin High School '97. She graduated from Bellevue College of Bellevue, WA, with the Nursing Class of 2007.
Lauren finally found her calling as a psychiatric nurse at Haven Behavioral Health. Though there only a short time, she took great enjoyment and satisfaction in the role.
Generous and kind hearted, Lauren believed it was more important to give than receive. She especially believed in causes related to animal welfare. She shared her love of animals with her son, and they especially enjoyed their mother-son trips to area zoos. Lauren also enjoyed attending concerts and listening to music with Brian. She will be remembered as a beautiful, at times clumsy, soul.
Left to treasure her memory are her significant other, Brian, their son, Isaac A. Nuebling- Schweitzer, and her step-daughter, Amaya Wicklein, all of Wyomissing. Lauren is also survived by her parents, Chris Nuebling (Nancy) of Green Lane and Linda R. Harp of Sinking Spring, and her sister, Rachel Bates (Torrey) of Sinking Spring.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Tuesday, January 4, 2021 beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Isaac's college fund through M&T Bank, Attn: Tracy, 800 Penn Ave, Wyomissing, PA 19610, check denoted to Isaac Nuebling-Schweitzer.
