Larry W. Weldy

Larry W. Weldy, Sr., 71, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away December 3, 2008 in his Harbeson, DE, residence.

He was the husband of Lovina "Lovey" Weldy.

Born in Reading on October 16, 1937, he was a son of the late Paul and Evelyn (Wolf) Weldy.

Larry is a graduate of Reading High School.

He was employed 44 years as a rip tracker with the Reading Railroad before retiring in 1998.

Larry was predeceased by a son, Larry W. Weldy, Jr.

Larry is survived by a daughter, Cindy Bossler of Muhlenberg Township.

A sister, Kathryn Weldy, Kutztown also survives him.

Other survivors include three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading. A burial will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
