Larry A. Wagner

Larry A. Wagner, Jr., 42, of Leesport, passed away January 23, 2014 in St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born April 18, 1971 in Reading he was a son of Dorothy N. (Mortland) Wagner, Leesport, and the late Larry A. Wagner, Sr., who died in 2004.

Larry was a 1990 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School.

He was a truck driver for Empire Group of Reading.

Larry was a professional rabbit breeder and was named number one breeder in the nation of harlequins for several years. He was a member of ARBA. He also owned and rebuilt antique cars.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother, James R. Wagner, Mohrsville. Also surviving are his nieces and nephew: Samantha, Sarah, Bryanna, Bryan, and Brittany; and his great-niece, Kassie.

Larry was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, whom he was very close to: Samuel Mortland in 1980 and Ruby (Minor) Mortland in 2006.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. A visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
