Larry L. Timmins

Larry Timmins, 81, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, at Reading Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Gloria (Yoder) Timmins, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, Larry was the son of the late Wilbur L. and Blanche M. (Morgan) Timmins. He was a graduate of Oley Valley High School and later attended Penn State Extension, where he studied draftsmanship.

Larry devoted decades of his career to machine manufacturing. He began as a draftsman with a company that would eventually become Rockwell International. As technology transformed the workplace, Larry retrained and became an IT engineer.

When Rockwell International shuttered its operations, Larry entered "retirement"- he went to work at Golden Oaks Golf Club, where he enjoyed both working and playing the game he loved. Golf provided Larry with many happy hours in his later years.

Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gloria; his daughters, Jodi Hollis of Fleetwood and Stacey Kasper, wife of Steve, of West Lawn; his grandchildren, Paige Ball, wife of Russell, and Lucas Bishop; and his great-grandchildren, Braylen and Asher.

A Celebration of Larry's Life is being planned for later this fall. Details will be announced at a later date.

Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com
