Larry D. Snyder

Larry D. Snyder, 56, formerly of Mohrsville, died of natural causes Dec. 22 at 7:10 a.m. in Laurel Center Genesis Elder Care, Tilden Township, where he had resided since April 8.

His wife, Arlene M. (Spease) Snyder, died Oct. 20.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Charles A. Snyder and Pearl L. (Conrad) Snyder Reitenauer.

Snyder was employed for many years as a cabinetmaker by Quaker Maid Kitchens, Ontelaunee Township.

Surviving are two brothers, Ronald R. Snyder, Reading, and Kerry L. Snyder, Douglassville; and three sisters: Carolyn A. (Snyder) Bitting, Douglassville; Patricia M. (Snyder) Witters, Temple; and Lucille E. (Snyder) Althouse, Bernville.

Other survivors include a half brother, Kenny Hartman, Hamburg; and a half sister, Pam Hartman, Reading.

Memorial services will be Monday at 7 p.m. in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be private in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
