Larry W. Keim

Larry W. Keim, 85 of Hamburg died March 25th in Berks Heim, Bern Township where he had resided since March 4th, 2011. He was the husband of Mary (Williams) Keim. He was born in Perry Township and was the son of the late William and Mabel (Muntz) Keim. He was a 1944 graduate of Perry High School. He worked for 21 years as a metallurgist and chemist for Dana Corporation, and then retired from Quaker Maid Kitchens where he was a cabinet maker for many years. Larry was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hamburg, and a member of P.O.S. of A., Hamburg. He was an avid golfer and President of the Hamburg Golf League for over 30 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Gary L. Keim, Port Clinton, 1 brother, William Keim, Montana and was predeceased by a brother Donald Keim. A memorial service will be held in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc, 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. A visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 Noon till time of service. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
