Larry R. Kauffman

Larry R. "Butch" Kauffman, Jr., 53, passed away July 12, 2012, in his Spring Township residence.

He was the husband of Helen M. (Rupp) Kauffman.

Born in Reading on October 13, 1958, he is the son of Betty (Noll) Kauffman, Ephrata and the late Larry R. Kauffman, Sr.

He was employed as a tow motor operator by Niagara Bottling, Fogelsville.

Butch was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God.

He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kelly Esterly, Reading and Kristin Ortiz, Temple; his brother, Glenn Kauffman, Reamstown; five sisters, Denise, wife of Neal Roth, Ephrata, Kim, wife of Steven Montgomery, Lancaster, Patricia Rotkiske, Barbara Kauffman and Tracy, wife of Jason Stricker, all of Ephrata,

He is also survived by five grandchildren, Damian Billman, Matthew Thornburg, Benjamin Ortiz, Edwin Ortiz and Kristin Esterly.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 1110 Snyder Road Reading, PA19609. Burial will be private. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
