Larry L. Eppenstein

Larry L. Eppenstein, 67, of Reading, died of natural causes in his residence on July 28th.

He was the husband of Joan M. (Dietrich) Eppenstein.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Raymond and Anna Eppenstein.

Larry worked for the Pepsi Cola Corporation, Reading, as a mechanic for 30 years. He was also the owner of Eppenstein's Amoco, West Reading, for 10 years. Larry was last employed as a truck driver for Morgan Corporation for 6 years retiring in 1997.

He was 1957 graduate of the West Reading High School.

Larry was in the Army Reserves for 10 years.

He is also survived by two sons, Todd R., Reading and Larry L., Laurel, MD, and one daughter Gail M. Eppenstein, Laureldale.

Other survivors include one brother Robert Eppenstein, Mohnton.

There are also six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2121 City Line Road Bethlehem, PA 18017. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of the arrangements.
