Lar Teresa Becker

Lar Teresa (Blanco) Becker, 85, died April 19, 2009 in her Laureldale residence.

She was the wife of Malcolm Charles Becker whom she married September 17, 1955.

Born November 5, 1923 in Guantanamo City, Cuba, she was a daughter of the late Francisco Rafael and Casilda Isabela (Tellz) Blanco.

Lar was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading.

Also surviving are two daughters, Susan (Becker), wife of Daniel L. Mosser of Muhlenberg Township and Frances (Becker), wife of Ronald I. Hertzog of Laureldale.

In addition, there is a brother, Francisco R. Blanco of Miami, FL surviving.

Other survivors include six grandchildren: Jennifer A. (Barrett) Dumas, Thomas J. Barrett, Matthew J. Hertzog, Lindsay F. Mosser, Emily E. Mosser and Kelsey L. Mosser.

There are also six great grandchildren surviving: Trent F. Hertzog, Connor M. Barrett, Ian C. Dumas, Ava L. Dumas, Ruby E. Hertzog and Ella G. Dumas.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
