Kwabena Boateng

Kwabena Boateng Sr., 54, of Reading, died February 27, 2012 in the Hershey Medical Center.

He was the husband of Agnes (Osei) Boateng, Reading.

Born August 16, 1957 in Accra, Ghana, West Africa, he was a son of the late Kofi and Monica (Yeboah) Boateng.

Kwabena was employed as a residential supervisor for the last four years with Supportive Concepts for Families, last working January 21st.

He is also survived by sixteen children: Theophiles, Augstine, Bernard, Kofi, John, Kwame, Kwabena Jr., Kwaku, Michael, Kofi, Dina, Joyce, Rita, Venessa, Keron and Jennifer.

There are also 13 grandchildren surviving.

A viewing will be held Saturday from 12 noon until 4:00 pm in the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Services will be in Ghana, West Africa. Burial will be in Techiman Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ghana, West Africa.
