Kirk L. Yeager

Kirk Lewis Yeager, 53, of Amity Township went to be with the Lord and his mother on December 11, 2012 in Pottstown Memorial Hospital.

He was the fiancé of Wendy L. Palmer of Amity Township.

Born December 27, 1958 in Reading, he was a son of Douglas Luther Yeager of Exeter Township and the late Eleanor Irene Pietrowicz.

Kirk attended Reading School District.

He was employed in security with Pioneer Crossing J.P. Mascaro for 7 years, last working Monday.

Kirk loved fishing, watching movies and listening to music.

He volunteered with Reading Hose Fire Company, for many years, and spent seven years volunteering with Birdsboro Fire Company.

Kirk left this life to go sing with Dean Martin.

Surviving are his son, Kirk D. Yeager, Jr. of Wyomissing; his brother, Kerry D. Yeager, boyfriend of Karla J. Shean of Fleetwood and his sister, Korin A., wife of Garry L. Hurley of Temple.

Other survivors include his two granddaughters, Sarah and Amy; five nieces and nephews and many cousins.

A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
