Kirby L. Weidenhammer

Kirby L. Weidenhammer, 57, of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in his residence.

He was the husband of Roxanne (Egolf) Weidenhammer.

Born in Reading he was a son of Helen (Keibach) Weidenhammer of Leesport and the late Kirby Weidenhammer.

He was a 1972 graduate of Oley Valley High School and was a member of St. John's (Gernants) Church, Leesport.

He was employed as a grid caster with East Penn Manufacturing – DEKA, Lyons for 38 years.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed camping in Tioga county with his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed attending cruise nights with his 1957 Chevy.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son: Kirby Weidenhammer and wife Stacy of Kutztown and his daughter: Taunya Weidenhammer of Oley. Also his Step children: John Canceliere and wife Georgina of Reading and Karen Burnish of Ephrata. Also surviving are his brothers: Robert and wife Kathy of Blandon; Scott and wife Karen of Blandon; Richard and wife Betsy of Hamburg and his sister: Vicki Quillman of Hamburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jade Weidenhammer; Avery Alvarez and Zaley Weidenhammer. Also his step grandchildren: Corey Burnish; John Canceliere, III and Zethan Levengood.

Services will be held in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment in St. John's (Gernants) Cemetery, Leesport.
