Kiarra E. Anavitate

Kiarra E. Anavitate, 17, of Wyomissing, passed away September 9, 2013.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Thomas Anavitate and Michelle Perez.

She was an 11th grade student at Wilson High School, where her favorite class was drama.

Kiarra was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church.

She loved being with her friends, shopping and spending time with her family; she was great to her little cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by four siblings, Jonathan Alvarez, Thalia Alvarez, Demilee Alvarez and Nevaeh Martinez; her paternal grandparents, Carmen, wife of Larry Fields, with whom Kiarra resided; her maternal grandfather, Louis Anavitate; her great-grandmother, Ida Betancourt; her paternal uncles, Louis Anavitate, Paul, husband of Jennifer Anavitate, Steve, husband of Audrey Anavitate, and maternal aunts and uncles, Annette Perez, Jesus Perez and Angel Santos. Many cousins also survive her.

Kiarra was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Virginia Perez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 322 S 5th St Reading, PA 19602. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
