Kevin W. Schweitzer

Kevin W. Schweitzer, 39, died of natural causes May 6 at 10:35 p.m. in his Reading residence.

Born in Reading, he was a son of William A. and Shirley Mae (Mitchell) Schweitzer, both of Reading.

Schweitzer had been employed for 17 years as a laborer by the Blind Association of Reading, last working in November.

He was a 1987 graduate of Oley Technical Institute.

Schweitzer captured first place in the bowling competition at the 2004 Pennsylvania Special Olympics.

He is also survived by a brother, Christopher A., Reading; and two half brothers, Scott P. Dautrich, Reading, and Brian W. Dautrich, Bowmansville.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
