Kevin C. Parke

Kevin C. Parke, 54, of Lower Alsace Township, passed away March 26, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

He was the husband of Shirley A. (Hiltebeitel) Parke.

Born January 21, 1960 in Pottstown he was a of Colin and Scarlett (Yerk) Parke, Tioga County.

He was a 1977 graduate of Boyertown High School.

Kevin worked at Federal Mogul for over 25 years and then became self employed.

He was a member of the Lower Alsace Fire Company, Stoney Creek AA, and a lifetime member of the N.R.A.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his two children: Amanda N. and Colin D., both at home. Also surviving are his siblings: George, husband of Robin Parke, Boyertown; Nadine, wife of Ron Melcher, Boyertown; and Lana Parke, Lancaster County.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540.
