Kevin D. Mills, 69, of Douglassville, passed away on April 5, 2026, at Reading Hospital.
Born on January 20, 1957, in Reading, he was the son of the late David F. Mills and Adele G. (Walton) Mills. Kevin was the devoted husband of Eileen (Snyder) Mills, with whom he shared 43 loving years of marriage before her passing in 2022.
Kevin was a graduate of Alvernia University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He built a successful career in computer programming, working primarily with insurance companies throughout the years. Outside of his professional life, Kevin had a deep passion for basketball and rock music. He spent countless hours on the court and at shows. He was also was an animal lover, a movie enthusiast, and a talented painter. Above all, Kevin cherished time with his family, cheering on his grandchildren at their games and anticipating the family’s annual trips to Knoebels.
Left to cherish his memory are sons, Christopher Mills, husband of Andrea, and Andrew Mills, all of Douglassville; granchildren, Madison and Joshua; brother, Kyle Mills, husband of Deborah, of Alburtis; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind two beloved canine companions: Zoey and Maya. He will be remembered for his larger than life personality, his dedication to his family, and the many ways he touched the lives of those around him.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10, at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place immediately afterward at Pleasant View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kevin's memory to Daniel Boone H.S. Baseball Boosters, 501 Chestnut St, Birdsboro, 19508.
