Kevin Galczynski

Kevin Galczynski, 70, passed away unexpectedly at his residence. He was the devoted husband of Donna (Stoudt) Galczynski. They tied the knot in May 1985, sharing 38 wonderful years together.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Walter and Stella Galczynski. Kevin graduated from Reading High School, and went on to join the U.S. Navy for 4 years, spending most of his time in the Mediterranean on the USS Standley. After leaving the Navy, Kevin enjoyed life on the road as a truck driver, making many trips up and down the East Coast and then worked as a bank security guard before retiring completely.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, listening to music from his massive CD collection, and doing yard work outside the home he and Donna built in 1988. Kevin will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh and his lack of a filter in front of friends and family.

In addition to his wife, Donna, his memory will be cherished by his sons, Tyler Galczynski (Courtney Ashley) and Griffin Galczynski (Samantha Trostle); grandchildren Peyton, Brycen, Madilynn, and Reese; siblings: Arlene Sellers, Ellie Falco, Jeannie Alamia, wife of Sal, Lynette Stevens, wife of Robert, and Jerry Galczynski, husband of Denise. Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Stella; 2 brother in laws: Harry and Craig; and his mother in law, Ruthie.

A memorial service will be celebrated Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to the time of the service. Edward J.
