Services for Kevin T. Diefenderfer, 21, South Heidelberg Township, will be Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading.
Diefenderfer was killed early Tuesday when his car slammed into a utility pole in Exeter Township, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Lincoln Road at Red Lane Road, according to the Berks County coroner's office.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of Eugene D. and Nancy L. (Geyer) Diefenderfer, with whom he resided.
Diefenderfer was employed as a salesman in the optical department at Boscov's Department Store, Exeter Township and Pottstown.
He was a 2002 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, Robesonia.
Diefenderfer is also survived by a brother, Jason D., at home.
Other survivors include his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Eleanor (Grimes) Geyer, Birdsboro.
Friends may call Thursday from 5:30 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
