Kenneth C. Reinert, 92, died August 24, 2010 in his Sinking Spring residence.
He was the husband of Helen R. (Muth) Reinert.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Charles and Naomi (Tompkins) Reinert.
He was a 1936 graduate of Reading High School.
Kenneth was owner/operator of Reinert's Radio and TV Shop, West Reading. He later worked for CarTech for a number of years, and concluded his professional career as a teacher of electronics at Oley VoTech until his retirement.
He was a three time, three meter Berks County Diving Champion and remained active in the Berks County Swimming Association and the West Reading Water Pageants.
Kenneth taught ballroom dancing at Colon's Dance Studio, Millmont.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Dennis B., husband of Elaine, Wyomissing; Kenton G., husband of Nancy, Reading; and Howard K., husband of Lauri, New Hope; and two step-sons, John E., husband of Libby Donohue, Southbury, CT; and James R., husband of Michele Donohue, Mohnton.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Nan, Beth, Tracey, Kenton, Tina, Benjamin, Laura and Quinn; three step-grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey, and Ben; and five great-grandchildren, Chase, Reagan, Bailey, Sydney and Nollan.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home., Inc., West Reading. Entombment will be in Laureldale Mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
